Participation Station

Click "Volunteer Sign-up" in the menu at the top of the page to get started.

This is essentially volunteer central where people come to sign up to volunteer and ask questions about the different PDF volunteer opportunies.  There is a binder at the "Part. Station", from here on out, that has information on all departments.  There are also instructions/how to for Part. Station in this binder.
 
Part. Station is also where participants come to turn in or look for any Lost & Found Items.  
 
There is a radio and instructions on how to use the radio at Part. Station.  Ranger Headquarters is right behind Part. Station.  
 
Part. Station is Leave no Trace, however, we do keep a MOOP bag there just for volunteer convenience.
 
Part. Station is also a good volunteer mad sexy spot if you have some sort of physical limitions as you can sit the whole time and shifts are only 2 hours long.
 
Volunteering is fun at Part. Station, lots of people stop by and hang out and it's a great fun way to meet new people.  You also get to hand out nifty volunteer laminate badges to volunteers and give out cute little bratty PDF pony buttons too ;)  You get lots and lots of hugs and lots of yummy noms noms too and it's just fun!!!!
 
In summary, this is the Participation Station/Playa Info:  get people to volunteer to assist with the event in any way that is necessary, like if you need a ranger or lost something. You also hand out badges to different volunteers as they come and sign up or arrive and check in.  And you answer, do your best to answer or find someone who can answer questions about different things at the event and, well, it's just plain fun ;)
