I wasn't sure who I should message about volunteering, and my email to fire-teamlead@playadelfuego.org was rejected undeliverable, so I'm posting here. I'm new to Playa, but I understand the need for everyone to volunteer and help out and I think fire team might be right for me. I have some experience building and managing large fires through my years as a scout. I have some protective gear in the form of leather/kevlar welding gloves and jacket, plus a high tolerance for the smell of my own arm hair singing off. My largest bonfire was about 15' tall before it was lit, and burned for about 12 hours. Obviously the fire team is most likely a popular way to volunteer, as many of us are partial (or full fledged) pyros; but if you think I could help, whether its hauling and stacking, planning, building, saying "damn its hot" , or anything at all let me know.

Fireteam always needs hands for the stack build and placing the effigy. It should be in the WWW. As far as other volunteering with FT, send "jillnado" a private message on here if she has not already contacted you.
