Hi,

Any chance we could get 'some' wood dropped off closer to the backfield.

I'm not totally lazy, but with the possibility of extreme mud,
hauling wood to my backfield theme camp will turn into a real chore.

Just a request.... thanks.

Maybe the BACK ACREAGE CAMPING KULT (B.A.C.K.) should buy a truckload of our own wood?! Let's get some Red Oak for the Red Light District! How much is a truckfull of firewood nowadays? Anybody know?

Whatever you do, buy locally! There are a number of destructive pests that are hitching rides
on firewood that has been transported from one area to another. Assateague Island has
instituted a ban on all non-local wood to give you an idea of the severity of the problem.

I'm totally down with a group purchase.
I just don't have the means to transport firewood.
Can we make a purchase from the same vendor that PDF uses?

Just throwing ideas out there.

Dude,

A person can buy a cord of wood locally for 125 to 200 a cord of hard wood mixture of hickory, oak, cherry and poplar in Delaware. The wood is cheaper this time of year, due to springtime. I had to heat my house with firewood this past winter, I live in Delaware, the wood is always cheaper south of the canal, due to all of the developing that has been going on the last couple of years. I don't know why they pay 225.00 a cord.
