I can't help with the decision of what you actually need, but if more steel is needed this burn, please don't not buy it just because you want to save money for the sand pit. After our last incident with a worn out pad, safety first (gasp)!

I'll head up to Lowe's in Middletown. Since Rev. Dave said there were 8ft. sheets available there, I'll check it out and if so, I'll put them on my Discover card and keep receipt for Maya. This way at least 11 new sheets will be there, and I can unload them myself onto the ground near the Main Burn Area. Will also check with the Lowe's contact Jill mentioned (via Yahoo FireTeam list) in case the sheets have already been ordered/paid, etc.

Sorry for all the confusion I might have generated.
