Howdy hey;

It's entirely likely you don't know me. I've been to Firefly (the NE regional) for the last 3 years, but after meeting a delegation from the DC area at Firefly this year, I decided it was time to see what other regionals are like. Looking forward to it! :)

Around this many days before my region's Burn, I post variations of the following on the Firefly mailing list:

"Howdy gang! We all know there's no better way to celebrate a long weekend than with freshly made whipped cream in a natural setting. But, when your dairy related festivities are done, you're left with a bunch of stainless steel lozenges. Instead of bringing them home to throw away, GIVE 'EM TO ME! I will turn them into pendants and other accessories using the power of my mind (and a drill press) to give away at other Burns. Thanks in advance!"

I still have a few of the necklaces in question left over from the last outdoorsy oontz thing I attended, so I'll have some to hurl at folk. I'll be the short brunette almost certainly clad all in black with a partially shaved head and gear tattoos on the left side of her skull. I'm camped with my fellow VTers at Better Living Through Chemistry with Camp mU.

See you soon,
Gearhead_Liz

Hey gearhead! A dear (and recently departed) friend of mine made excellent use of old nitrous chargers - he glued them to his car: http://chaster.us/cars.html

He actually went on to put many more, and as you can see in the lower pictures, incorporated them into various art elements as well. Hmmm, where DID he get them all?

Hope ya had a great PDF!

I wasn't sure what to do with my 100 whippets of solitary use taking up weight in my closet... I'll save them for next spring burn (won't be in the fall)... will you be at next spring burn? If so I got some "metal lozenges" for ye! :!:
