Spend the extra money on a Honda or other LOW NOISE models.

Do you really need a 8000 watt genny to run less than 2000 watts of lights and things?

x10000 on a Honda inverter generator.. i think they go to 3k and you can be standing right next to one and barely know its running.... plus they are light.. thats another awesome point to them.. I would avoid the Yamaha's , as some have issues with the stators (think like a distributor in a car) which causes them to not rev up when load is put on them, its usually covered under warranty but the last time i came across this problem the part was on national back order.. the brigs ones are okay units, but they are louder.. the cost leaders like all power and predator like you will find at harbor freight or auto parts stores got good reviews for clean reliable power.. but they are the loudest of the bunch...

I love my Honda 2000, quiet. Only issuie, change the oil to a multi-weight before heading into a regional burn with below zero temps

x2 on the small Honda. I have read that the small blue Yamaha generators are as quiet as the Hondas. Having a Honda or Yamaha will make your neighbors happy. :D
