August 2016 Planning Committee Meeting

Our next PC meeting is approaching!

Date: Sunday, August 14
Time: 11 AM

We will review more After Burn reports, vote on old budgets, and hear new business and budgets. THIS IS THE LAST CALL FOR BUDGETS FOR FALL 2016 BURN!

Meetings are open to anyone in our community, all you have to do is call in to participate! We follow the agendas pretty closely, so be sure to submit any items you want to talk about below (and by the agenda deadline) to get them on this meeting's agenda. All agenda items (e.g., After Burn reports and budgets!) are due on FRIDAY August 12 by 5PM.

I would like to add to the agenda to have a board member on call give the PC any updates regarding any discussions and actions, either planned or performed, by either the board or by the vets, with regards to improving the bridges the vets built.

I'm sorry I don't quite understand that...

Are you just saying it'd be cool if a BOD member happened to be on this call because your agenda item is to discuss the bridge?

Or did you want to make an agenda item for a proposal to have a BOD member on some future call?

(Try as I might, my agenda powers still can't conjure BOD members without their say so!) :P

I think she is asking NOW that we need an official word if the bridge has had any improvements by the vets - and if there will be any by FALL PDF

Can a kind lead pls add a few pieces of skinny, less than half inch diameter, rebar length between 18" 36" to their budget. I use it for flags, slip the PVC poles over them so it HAS to be less than .5" dia.

Lamplighters, dpw, and others use the same super handy rebar and last event it was REALLY hard to find unbent, skinny, lengths in the shed. As other depts. were scrambling to find some too this will benefit many.

Flags don't really have a lead or dept. - wasn't sure where to post this request.

So for both of these requests...

It's pretty dicey to expect any/all BOD members or coords to read this thread in the next couple days. Some might, yeah. But I personally wouldn't bank on it being more than a handful at most (and even then possibly not the ones you're hoping to alert).

My advice for requests that are targeted at BOD members or coords (other than me, b/c yeah of course I read this thread!) is that they should really be emailed to the BOD or coords directly.
