City Planning

Theme Camps

There is a slightly new process for registering theme camps and requesting placement on the city map this year:

Step 1: Register Your Camp

Register Theme Camp’s Name, Description & optional Image, and add any other camp organizer’s emails (this allows them to add events).

Registered camps are will be intermittently published to the public theme camp list, so don’t worry if they don’t show up immediately.

Step 2: Request Placement

A link to the Theme Camp Placement Request Form will be emailed to you after registration. You must fill it out to have your camp placed, which means it gets added to the map and space is marked out for your camp onsite.

Any camp that requests placement will be placed, although you will not be notified until the release of the City Map.

Theme camps that do not request placement will only appear on the public list of camps, and can set up in Open Camping as space allows.

Step 3: Fill out other forms applicable to your placed camp:

If your camp plans to have any of the following, you must request placement and cannot camp in Open Camping areas.

See Theme & Sound Camp FAQ for full details.

Onsite Parking

If you are bringing an RV or other camping vehicle that will be inside the event instead of in the parking lot, you need to apply for Onsite Parking.
