Sanctuary volunteers are required to attend a training session prior to their shift to learn necessary skills and event-specific protocols like radio use.

Both pre-event, remote training and onsite training are offered.

Remote Training

Get your Sanctuary training done before you get to Playa Del Fuego!

Sanctuary volunteers can attend one of two remote training sessions to meet the training requirement prior to their shift.

Training is expected to take between 1 and 1.5 hours, but might run longer if we hold space for any questions or side stories that come up.

Sanctuary trainings during Playa Del Fuego will be held at Noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
